Absolutely!! Kids of all ages are welcome and will have a great time. I would suggest a half night trip because most younger kids fall asleep before midnight. I have youth bows that are easy for kids to pull back and still powerful to stick a fish. There is a lot of wildlife for kids to see and keep them entertained. Kids 12 and under do have to wear a life jacket while underway. I will provide them or if you have your own you are welcome to bring it.
No, I purchase a license each year that covers everyone on the boat
I provide all equipment and everything needed for the trip. You will just need to bring food & snacks, a cooler to take fish home in, bug spray, and your own bow or equipment if you choose.
Depending on the time of the year, wear the appropriate clothing. Once the sun goes down and the dew falls, it always feels colder than what the weather predicts. Always a good idea to bring a jacket. You will be doing a lot of standing so a comfortable shoe or boot will help.
I do not clean the fish so you will need to make accommodations to take the fish with you and have cleaned. If you do not plan on keeping your catch, let me know ahead of time and I will make arrangements. I do have some videos to show you how to clean the different types of fish.
I will let you know ahead of time the plans based on current weather and tides. Typically, we meet right around sundown. Normal half night trip will be from 8:30 to 1 or so, and a full night would be from 8:30 to 4.
